Bay Tourism Visitor Information
The Bay area has two fantastic Visitor Information Centres - one in Lancaster and one in Morecambe - open throughout the year to offer you information and advice about your visit to our beautiful district. Either call in, email or phone them to ask for more details about accommodation, attractions and events in the area. Contact details for both centres can be found below. Additionally, Carnforth Station plays host to its own Visitor Centre which offers a range of information about Carnforth's history and heritage as well as its modern day attractions! Don't miss a visit to this great centre to find out more about this fascinating market town.
If you simply wish to pick up a leaflet or two during your stay, there are also a number of Tourist Information Points around the district. These leaflet and information racks are located within a number of our attractions and venues, such as the cafe at Williamson Park.

Have a stroll round town, take a fascinating tour of the castle, then come on in to Lancaster VIC in the newly-refurbished Storey Creative Industries Centre, where you'll find us on the ground floor together with the "NICE" cafe-bar and restaurant.

Morecambe Visitor Information Centre
Morecambe Visitor Information Centre is proud to have taken the top spot in the recent National 2011 Enjoy England Awards for Excellence, coming first out of 490 Tourist Information Centres in England! Marks were scored for outstanding customer service, top quality information provision, and the warm welcome extended to all visitors.
So why not stroll along Morecambe's Promenade, pop into The Midland Hotel for a cup of tea overlooking the beautiful Bay, then come and visit us in the award-winning Morecambe Visitor Information Centre for travel and accommodation information, maps and books, and a great range of seaside-themed gifts and souvenirs.
Summer opening: Mon-Sat: 9.30am - 5pm. Sunday opening 10am - 4pm.
Winter opening: Monday-Saturday 9.30am-5pm.
