Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go for a sail on Morecambe Bay?

Now you can find out! 

The Training Centre at the Yacht Club offer Fun Sails on a small yacht (called a keelboat) bookable online from their website. You can go out with an RYA instructor for 2-3 hours before committing to a 2-day beginners' sailing course (level 1 keelboat course).
If you enjoy it, there are many more RYA courses available to help you become a confident skipper on your own boat one day. We also offer a full range of theory courses taught by RYA Scotland 'Instructor of the Year' 2011. At the moment we are the only RYA coastal keelboat venue in the North West! The Yacht Club was started in 1936 by local fishermen who liked to race their boats. These down-to-Earth local beginnings are still reflected today in the character of the Club.

The Club welcomes everyone with an interest & enthusiasm for water sports in the Bay. You don't have to know how to sail to join the Club.
