Hornby Post Office is at the heart of Hornby a busy post office, that also sells a wide range of stationery, local guide and walking books, sweets, ice cream and more...
The tea rooms are open seven days and offer home made cakes, light meals and all day breakfasts aswell as teas and coffees.
It is also a great meeting point for walking and cycling groups before exploring the timeless landscape of lush pastures and ancient stone villages of the picturesque Lune Valley.

The newly refurbished apartment features:

- A bright and modern kitchen with all amenities, cooker, microwave,washing machine, dryer and fridge plus dining area.
- Double bedroom.
- Twin bedroom.
- Twin bedroom with bunkbeds.
- Bathroom and shower.
- There is an additional put you up - folding bed, for an extra person.
- Exterior: patio and small garden.
- Central heated throughout.
The building was once Hornby Town Hall and even had an air raid shelter, that is now storage and can be used for bikes etc. Peter plans also to build a wet room.
Ample parking is available on the Main Street at the front.
Sorry no dogs, but children welcome.
A deposit of £50 secures the apartment with the balance on arrival.

- Maintained and cleaned by the owner.
Light meals are available in the tea room below or good barmeals are available in the local pub, the Royal Oak. Nearby "The Black Bull", Caton is also highly recommended.
Internet access/wifi is available at the village Institute.
